Concrete Driveways

Concrete driveways are the ultimate in long-term durability. When properly designed and installed with adequate reinforcement and expansion joints, a concrete driveway can easily last 30–40 years with minimal maintenance — outlasting most other surfacing options by a significant margin.

Dalys Driveways uses structural concrete mixes (typically C25–C30 with 150mm depth for domestic use) reinforced with A142 steel mesh to prevent cracking under load. We cut or form expansion joints to manage thermal movement, and we finish to your specification — plain brushed, exposed aggregate, pattern imprinted or coloured.

Pattern imprinted concrete (sometimes called stamped concrete or PIC) is a particularly popular choice, offering the look of block paving, slate, cobbles or natural stone at a fraction of the cost. The concrete is poured and imprinted while still wet, then treated with a colour release agent and sealant to create a stunning finish.

Our concrete driveways are also available in a range of standard and custom colours using integral pigments, allowing you to create a surface that complements your home's exterior perfectly.
